About
My work transforms large and small data into immersive audiovisual experiences, helping people to feel the emotional contours of a dataset, rather than just analysing its mathematical properties.
I employ a wide range of techniques to do this, from code, to collaborative workshops, to sound design, to data analysis, to pen and paper sketching. What unifies my work is a focus on senses and scale - from the sound of the wind in the trees, to the total cognitive overwhelm of the climate crisis.
Much of my work is oriented around environmental change, but I'm more interested in examining the present and seeking out visions of a better future than I am in pointing out the problems of the past.
